What does a typical coaching journey look like?

We place great value on making the coaching process as clear and transparent as possible for you. Here are the essential steps and cornerstones that we have put together. The journey starts with a free initial consultation, a.k.a., the chemistry session. It serves to get to know each other without obligation. If the chemistry is right, the coaching journey begins.

What is the Structure of Executive Coaching?

The executive coaching process typically involves a 1:1 relationship between a coach and a leader and includes a series of structured, data-driven coaching sessions where coaches work hands-on with leaders to identify the leaders’ patterns, strengths and vision.


  1. Chemistry session:

Our process starts with a 45 min chemistry session with the coaching client.


  1. Coaching session:
  • Recommended Duration: Our professional recommendation stands at a total of 8-10 sessions, conducted online, with each session limited to 1 hour, a framework that has proven highly beneficial for our clients. However, recognizing the unique needs of each organization, we remain flexible in adjusting the duration to align with specific preferences, whether opting for a more condensed or extended timeline. The total duration of 8 sessions shouldn’t exceed 6 months.
  • Optimal Interval: Sessions are strategically spaced at intervals of 15-20 days, a deliberate choice to provide individuals with the necessary time for reflection, application, and continuous improvement between sessions.
  • Flexible Scheduling: At the initiation of the process, meeting times are collaboratively determined by the coach and the client, taking into account individual schedules and commitments. This personalized approach sets the tone for a tailored and effective coaching experience.


  1. Meeting with Client’s Senior Executive (Optional): In corporate coaching, the most critical stakeholder for achieving the desired development in individuals is often the senior executive. Therefore, at the beginning, middle, or end of the process, with the client’s knowledge, we may request such a meeting. This meeting is complimentary.

How Can a Coaching Client Prepare for Executive Coaching?

Preparing for Executive Coaching involves being open to change and ready to invest time and effort into self-improvement.

Write anything you can think of that concerns your leadership and relationship with people in your workplace and your entire organization. To help you focus, review your notes before each session. Share specific things and situations that you think are worth discussing with your coach on a deeper level.

And also, review any existing “Assessment center” reports, receive feedback from subordinates, superiors, peers, and external stakeholders.

If necessary and with the client’s permission, we can conduct a short meeting with the client’s superior.
